Went to castle. On way something (or several things) tried to extort 2400 G.P from us. Charged two people but when we attacked it left. Was good with illusions (looked to be 3 18' giants) went to castle fought & killed two hydras. In room was a chaotic int 15 +1 dagger powers: charm, telekinesis X2, telepathy, see invisibility. Charmed Eldred and then charmed Lindil who attacked Rendar. Sormac knocked out Lindil, was charmed attacked Rendar and then was shield bashed 5 times and knocked out. Daramin charmed and cast a fireball around him. Rendar asked Sormac's mace what was happening. And it said dagger was doing it Dwmyr knocked out Daramin and then Eldred. Got dagger back safely and gave to temple.
